The other day I went out to the mailbox, opened it up to check the mail and this little bloke was in there panicking that he had been disturbed. He "escaped" through a small crack in the back of the mailbox (my mailbox is bricked in).Then I went out there the next day and he was back inside of there again. I think he was looking for a way out so I opened up the mailbox a crack so he could get out and I've not seen 'em since.
Usually our lizards here are much larger and are of the Horny Toad or Horny Lizard variety. This pic was taken by my dad while he was mowing the yard. When I was a kid, these would have been temporary pets.
