Here is a link to some videos of Lindsey Williams talking about the oil-shortage, which doesn't exist. In a previous life I've posted a few entries about this. If you really believe that there is an oil crisis and that we have no other options than to buy oil from the Middle East, please take a few moments to watch the video(s).
It's interesting that the republicans blame the liberal democrats for not allowing our oil resources to be tapped and utilized. In the video Williams clearly implicates the government, which happens to be the existing Bush administration as the reason we aren't allowed to touch the oil.
I'm sure there is some truth to both arguments given the way our government work. It's another example of bi-partisan politics causing us more harm than good.
